A respected professional in the field of mental health and chemical dependency since 1996, Sarah specializes in dual-diagnosis (treating both addiction and co-occurring psychiatric conditions.) Ms. Sacks received her graduate degree from Barry University in May of 1997, and she is well-known in the community for her integrity and commitment to her patients. Ms. Sacks is affiliated with the National Association of Social Work, and is a proud member of the National Association of Alcoholism and Drug Abuse Counselors (NAADAC) in which she served as President Elect in 2007.
Dr. Emilio Duboy
Emilio Duboy, MD, Psychiatrist, has been a practicing psychiatrist since 1990. Dr. Duboy focuses on treating the overall psychological well-being of patients, including the detection, evaluation and management of various forms of mental illness and substance abuse. Dr. Duboy has worked in several psychiatric settings, including hospitals and substance abuse treatment programs. Dr. Duboy’s specialties include treatment of addiction and mood disorders.
Amanda Rutherford, CAC, Admissions Director, has over 14 years of experience in the field of mental health and substance abuse. Her experience provides a thorough understanding of the clinical, administrative, and Human Resource needs of a successful facility. Ms. Rutherford is responsible for maintaining the highest standards of compassionate care at Transformations. She is a Certified Addictions Counselor, currently pursuing her degree in Social Work.
