About Transformations Recovery Florida
This is supposed to be the about us page for Transformations Recovery, but it is really about you, not us. It is about your needs, your dreams, your future, your life, and making that life healthier and happier.
Our Mission as a Substance Abuse and Mental Health Treatment Facility in Palm Beach County
Our mission at Transformations Recovery is to create a safe and well educated treatment facility, addressing addiction and mental health issues for our patients. We concentrate on the physical and emotional well-being of the individual, and on the impact addiction has had on both the person and their family members.
Our Vision for the People Who Walk Through the Doors of Our Jupiter Facility
We know everyone faces challenges along the way. Sometimes you are battered by emotions like helplessness, confusion, anger, or hurt. It may seem you have lost your direction and life is spinning out of control. You know life can be enhanced, but you cannot seem to take the first step toward that more satisfying, contented place.
The First Thing You Need to Know Before You Consider Treatment for Addiction or a Mental Health Condition
First, know that it is okay. You are okay. You are human. You are going to have issues to deal with. We all do.
Maybe you or someone you love is battling depression, drug addiction, or alcoholism. Maybe you cannot control your anger, or you are overwhelmed by grief. Perhaps you are struggling with a mood disorder or marital problems, or maybe stress has taken over. If so, you may need a helping hand to boost you over the obstacles you are facing. Asking for that hand is not weakness. It is the single most practical thing a person in that position can do.
We Are Here for You: The Personal Approach We Take With Every Client at Transformations Recovery
The staff at Transformations Recovery are caring people skilled in helping individuals overcome life’s most challenging problems. We understand that each of you is unique, and that every life is composed of countless aspects that affect each person differently. We take a personal approach with each client, and we work to find the individualized plan that offers the maximum potential to succeed.
We believe every person is irreplaceable. Each of you is valuable, unique, and deserves to have a healthy life. You deserve to be treated with respect and dignity, and that is what all of us here want for you.
Our quest is to enhance the quality of your life, as well as the lives of the people who love you. We recognize that the support of your family and friends is fundamental to recovery, but we also know they need support of their own. We help them understand the issues confronting you, and show them how to best help you while taking care of their own needs at the same time.
How We Can Help: The Programs and Services Available Through Transformations Recovery
If you need help managing alcohol use, substance abuse, or chemical dependency, our programs are structured so that treatment fits around a working life wherever that is clinically appropriate.
Intensive Outpatient Program Allowing You to Keep Working and Living at Home
IOP gives you structured clinical hours each week while you continue to work and live at home, learning new skills and coping strategies and testing them immediately against real life.
Day Time Program in a Partial Hospitalization Style Format for Higher Support Needs
Our daytime program runs a fuller clinical schedule for people who need more structure than IOP provides but do not require an inpatient admission. Evenings are spent at home or in sober housing.
Gender-Specific Group Programs for Men and for Women, With Co-Ed Groups Available
Some material is difficult to work through in a mixed room, particularly around trauma, shame, and relationships. We provide separate groups for men and for women, and co-ed groups are also available.
Sober Living With the Accountability of a Twenty-Four Hour Staffed Residential Setting
For clients who prefer or need the accountability of a residential-style environment, sober living provides staffed housing alongside daily programming and a shared routine with peers.
Free Family Education Program Covering Enabling, Co-Dependency, and Coping Skills
Our family education program helps family members, friends, and significant others learn coping skills. We teach them about enabling and co-dependency while giving them support and an outlet to share with others who understand.
Individual Assessment of Physical, Mental, and Emotional Status Before Any Plan Is Written
We initially assess each client’s physical, mental, and emotional status. Our staff take every aspect into consideration when preparing a personalized treatment program rather than assigning a standard track.
Comparing the Levels of Support Available So You Can See Where Each Program Fits
| Option | Level of support | Who it tends to suit |
|---|---|---|
| Day time program | Full clinical days, evenings at home | People needing more structure than IOP without inpatient admission |
| Intensive outpatient | Set clinical hours across the week | Anyone holding down work, study, or caregiving |
| Sober living | Staffed residential-style housing, 24 hours | People without a safe or sober home environment |
| Family education | Weekly group, offered free of charge | Partners, parents, adult children, and close friends |

How We Assess Each Client Before Building a Personalized Addiction Treatment Program
Transformations Recovery initially assesses each client’s physical, mental, and emotional status. Our staff take each aspect into consideration when preparing your personalized treatment program, because two people arriving with the same substance history rarely need the same plan.
Substance history, withdrawal risk, current medications, and general medical health.
Psychiatric symptoms, previous diagnoses, and any co-occurring conditions needing treatment.
Grief, anger, trauma, and the emotional pressures sitting underneath the substance use.
Who is available at home, what they can realistically offer, and what support they need themselves.
The Values That Shape How Our Team Treats Every Person Who Comes to Us for Help
Nobody is a case number here. Treatment plans are written for a person with a history, not for a diagnosis code.
People arrive at treatment carrying shame. Adding to it does not help anyone get well, and we do not allow it.
The people who love you need information and support of their own, which is why the family program is free.
Most of our staff have had their own lives touched by addiction. That understanding sits behind the clinical work.
An Important Safety Note on Withdrawal, Overdose Risk, and Mental Health Emergencies
Withdrawal from alcohol and from benzodiazepines can be medically dangerous and in some cases fatal. Neither should be stopped abruptly without medical supervision. Tolerance also falls quickly during any period of abstinence, which sharply raises overdose risk if someone returns to a previous dose.
In a medical emergency, call 911. The 988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline is available 24 hours a day by call or text for anyone in emotional distress. Information on this page is general education about addiction treatment and is not a substitute for individual medical advice from a clinician who knows your history.
Transformations Recovery Florida provides substance abuse and mental health services to adults in Jupiter and the surrounding Palm Beach County communities. Our programs are designed to assist clients in creating a healthy lifestyle, which remains our primary purpose.
